THE CABLE GUY

Dear Ed
.......... to get voted into Downing Street at the next election all you have to do is tell the truth. Dont promise what you cant deliver and most importantly take Nick Cleggs keys off him. He has abused his position as leader of the Liberal party so ground him. Send him back to Sheffield - give him a map cause he probably wont visit during this parliament - and let him struggle like the rest of us.
LOYALTY
David Cameron - same old Tory, same old values so not surprised
Nick Clegg - conned the British people into thinking he was a good man, a loyal man, a trustworthy man
Mike Ashley - no loyalty shown to the man who enabled his company (Newcastle Football Club) to get back to the top flight in football. He then sacked him (Chris Hughton)
and finally....... the cause of my angst this evening..... Carlos Tevez. Go and visit my other blog http://www.booteesandblankets.blogspot.com/ and see how I feel.
Maybe you, the reader, writer and inputter might like to take time out and think about the people who you could add to this list...... feel free to leave a comment, maybe a name or three or four.... over and out.

Welcome to Thatcher’s Britain (Mk.2)
Ok, so I know that she looks a lot younger and she has changed her facial features, and her hair is shorter; oh and she has changed her name to David and she dresses as a man, but trust me Margaret Thatcher is back as the UK’s Prime Minister.
The UK’s transport system is going to pot, riots are breaking out in London….. with more to come. The weather is causing chaos so another Winter of Discontent is on the way.
Margaret’s answer to all of our woes is of course to make sure he and his friends in the banking world are OK; as Lord Young said “we’ve never had so good”.
So with mass redundancies in the public sector, creaking railways, an under funded NHS, rioting students and bike sales rising due to job-seekers commuting we can all rest easy because the bankers will be getting their huge bonuses to keep the Porsche garages busy.
Margaret’s first reign completely wiped out an industry and a swathe of Northern communities died, so what’s going to happen 30 years later in her second term? The mines have gone, most other industry has gone, replaced by Public Sector call centres and government departments that moved out of London.
Just maybe those people who thought Margaret had changed will soon see that she only ever looks after her own……….

Welcome to ED.....
I think the Country should now be welcoming Ed Miliband, with open arms, as leader of the Labour Party.
He beat his brother David by such a small margin it was difficult to seperate them.
The party will now veer off to the left, not too far I think, but far away from the sleeze and szmooze of New Labour - which is now well and truly dead and buried.
The Tory's and their little followers (Clegg, Cable, Alexander etc.) will no doubt be pleased they can scare the country with story's of strikes and union involvement etc. Maybe Ed and hopefully David Miliband will be able to bring a halt to the destruction and "death" this country faces under the ConDem's.
NOTE: I kept the picture firmly in the centre of the page.
