We're Back......!

Well its been a while, but we're back. You know how we said right at the beginning that we thought Nick Clegg was great....! Well obviously we were wrong, so, so wrong.

So with the financial markets now crumbling (again) and this time no excuses about it being Labour's fault Dave (fool!), Gideon refuses to change course, so hold on to your hats as the sh@t is about to hit the fan!

I read today that in the first 3 months of this year the government lost £650m in fuel duties because people had cut down their fuel usage. I would love to know what the figure is now, 4 months later. If its the same then they have lost about £1.5billion of revenue. So watch out for more taxes to compensate because Gideon isn't going to get his money in that he thought he would.

And of course, growth is virtually none-existent too!

So the Eds have their chance now, and as two Eds are better than one, lets hope that they can stick in the knife and we get the Election we need....!

The Banker's Friend

So, since Dave and his cronies came to power the Bankers have nearly trebled the amount of donations they made to the Tory party, to over £11million! Little wonder then that rather than repeating the Labour initiative to tax bonuses which raised £3.5billion in 2010, they have chosen only to tax them £800million.

These people are robbing the poor to pay the rich. £2.5billion would easily keep open the Libraries and Sure Start schemes which are being closed now.

Wake up Britain, we are slowly being Mugged by our own Government! There are only a few Bankers, but millions of people now being affected by the problems brought about by the Greedy Financial Institutions.

And don't get me started on the NHS Reforms.........

Save our Libraries, and Children's Sure Start

STOP THIS MAN!

Jeremy Hunt, the Tory Culture Secretary faces a court case if some people (Cherie Blair included) get their way for closing Public Libraries. He must be Stopped.

We have recently re-discovered our local library with our children, and what a great resource it is. Our local library is also the location for one of the Sure Start schemes. Due to the ConDems fanatical and miss-guided rush into cutting public services both the library and the sure Start face closure due to the amount of cuts being forced on local councils by Eric Pickles, surely the largest of MPs since Cyril Smith (RIP).

So much for the Big Idea from Dave about community. IT'S ALL LIES, and breaks all the pre-election promises. Having failed to convince us all that snow led to a dramatic contraction of the UK economy it is of course all down toLabour. But that is just not true, but then the ConDems just will not blame the bankers because who else can they get to fund their election campaigns and pay for their evening soirees in rural Oxfordshire?

This stinks, so don't sit on your bum, get out there and stop these people ripping the heart out of our children's future.

Your Country needs YOU!

Its all going "Pete Tong"

As some people may well recognise I tend to use some of the Guardian Cartoons in my posts. Steve Bell always seems to hit the mark! Whilst this shows that "the economy will not be blown off course" (quoting George Osborne); it also shows that the Sh*t (as in George) is about to hit the fan.

I am currently in Dubai, an emirate within the UAE. The beauty of having lots of oil, and at present therefore lots of money, allows the financial problems suffered here, just as elsewhere in the world, to seem an increasingly distant memory. I flew here on an Airbus A380, a fantastic airplane manufactured in Europe, some of it by BAe Systems. Amazingly quiet, roomy and comfortable, this airplane shows what British manufacturing can do.

In another division of BAe Systems diggers normally used to break up roads and demolish buildings are breaking up 9 airplanes that cost £4billion to develop at a cost of £200million. What a complete waste of money, and at a time where no other replacement is in place, except for turning to other countries to help us defend our own shores against attack.

This comes after the last flight of another great aircraft, the BAe Systems Harrier jump-jet. With what seems as amazing haste the entire fleet of these aircraft fly no more. Another British invention and result of foresight and manufacturing prowess lies forlorn and awaiting the diggers like the Nimrods.

My grandma didn't like Margaret Thatcher (I won't say what she used to call her, rhymes with "witch"), she saw her lay waste to the Mining Industry and a raft of manufacturing industries. As we have seen, the ConDems have prevented leaders in the Steel industry in Sheffield becoming one of the world leading businesses in specialist steel manufacturing, so is it any wonder that they seem hell bent on getting rid of other manufacturing industry because it "must" be done.

Meanwhile Dave's and George's friends in the Banks laugh at us all as they collect their bonuses and know that as the rest of us suffer from a 12% average pay cut, the most expensive fuel costs ever, the highest ever food prices and a seemingly headlong rush into economic hardship they have sufficient money to see it through.

Finally, this photo of Dave in Davos with his German counterpart seems to me to show a man who is asking everybody else what he should do........ after his buddy and spin doctor Andy Coulson resigned due to him being Editor of the News of the World at a time when phone hacking seemed to be the normal way of getting scoop news.

As Citizen "Wolfie" Smith used to say "Power to the People..." Maybe we should think of those words rather than sit back and be laughed at by the ConDem Cabinet, as they go home to their Oxford homes...

MANY HAPPY RETURNS BILLY.....

.......sorry Nick.  My family and I all hope you have a lovely day and you lay your head on your pillow tonight with not a care in the world..... unlike a lot of inhabitants of this lacklustre country, who cannot lay their heads without worrying about where we are all going to be in say 2 years time.

My daughter, a University student, yesterday lost her part time job due to her company not being able to afford to pay her.  This Company, like a lot of others, are trying to work out whether to put their retail prices up or take the VAT hit of an extra 2.5% themselves and try and keep sales up, or at least level with what they have been selling prior to this increase.  They are in a no win situation.  Either pay themselves and reduce their workforce, or take a gamble, put their prices up and hope the consumer will not stop spending.

One way or another the economy will be stunted with either limited growth or more unemployment.

BUT....... It is all Labours fault isnt it?  You know, that party who were in Government only 9 months ago.... oh please come back. We are all so so sorry for voting Liberal Democrat.  Funny thing is, we all know what we get with the Tory's (like I have said previously), but Nick, you are so unemployable now.  Your best mate Dave has pulled the biggest flanker on you in human history.....

Nick, maybe this is what you really saw on that breezy mayday in the Garden of Number 10, but you are such a hypocrite you saw beyond this to feather your own nest.  This is the image that I see everytime I am unlucky enough to see DC on the TV......

2011......can't wait, can you?

I get so inspired by Dave; he has told me (and you) that 2011 is going to be tough, but don't worry we will be better off because all of their cuts and taxes will improve our finances and we will be jolly and happy in time of the next election where obviously we will all vote for ConDem again.

Unless, of course, you have to make use of the NHS, once so wonderful now swamped (apparently) by flu victims, thanks to the ConDem folks not spending £600, 000 on the advertising campaign reminding people of their responsibilities of infecting people....

As an aside, I would love some comments on what the lady next to Andrew is saying.......

Unless of course you get the train to work and will be paying an additional 12.7% on your travel. This means that 20% of your salary is spent getting to work.....

No problem, use the car...... Sorry that would mean paying record prices for fuel due to the VAT rise, brought in by the ConDems.

Still, better to be a poor commuter than surrounded by fuming scousers.......
