I'm coming to get you......

It appears that David Milliband is feared by David Cameron, so New Labour still has some sway in Middle Britain.... But, it also appears that David and Ed Milliband's relationship as brothers is being tested by the Labour Leadership race.

Either way, these brothers could be Britain's saving grace to a 5-year term of the ConDem 'twins'. As the NHS is torn apart, as manufacturing suffers, as the October spending review looms we need Labour to help us in our hour of need. Strange isn't it that 70 years on the many are relying on the few again to save Britain.....

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Camerons on the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Florence. Fortunately for her she will never have to want for anything in her life, unlike thousands of newborn babies who will be born into "poverty" in Britain, and who are now worse off under the ConDem boys than they were under Gordon Brown and Labour.

Is it me, or do politicians suddenly become more appealing when they talk of their children......

Crispin Blunt MP

Crispin Blunt MP, Prisons Minister, has told his wife he is leaving her because he is gay.  He has two children.

Mr Blunt has decided it is time to tell the truth.  I feel very sorry for his wife and children, not because he is gay but because he obviously didnt just wake up a week ago and decide he wanted a gay life instead of a life with his wife.  His wife must now be thinking her life with him was false and a lie.

Why would anyone pretend to be something they are not - my answer to that question would be that he did not think he would gain so much in life, being a gay man with a partner (David Laws... esque), instead of being a married man with a couple of children.

                                         Here is another Tory fraud.  Add him to the list.

NHS DIRECT........

.......... sorry, there is no one to answer your call, we are re directing your call to an Indian Call Centre, when you are finally answered, if you understand the operator, please put your credit card details into the phone before we can stop your child choking to death.....

This is what will happen if that wonderful service NHS DIRECT is scrapped and replaced by a more "efficient" (less doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals on hand to help) and "cheaper" (re direct all our calls to India where you will be ok if your ailment is on a script in front of the call centre operative) service.

This will take jobs away from operators and healthcare professionals who have provided a valuable service to the public since 1999, eleven years ago....  why must we now start going backwards in our approach to life.  Having this service must stop people running to their GP with suspected problems that they able to sort out by talking to someone on the phone. 

Andrew Lansley, what are you going to scrap next.  Maybe free prescriptions for children, only one trip to the doctors per month - or maybe before you get to visit your GP you have to put your credit card into a slot in his or her door to gain access and if you can't afford it you end up at some hovel, queuing for hours.....

So for most of yesterday, on the radio on the tv during a speech, Nick tried to convince us all that he was still a Liberal.....  Come on Nick, you need to do better than that.

FREAKY SUNDAY

Well, where do I start.

At the beginning.  Ian spent most of the day at his Model Railway club, sorting out some issues prior to an exhibition they are attending over the Bank Holiday weekend.

He arrived back around three, then mowed the lawn - we have had so much rain in this past week, maybe I think someone is crying upstairs (in heaven, beyond the sky's, whatever is up there).  Crying because of the mess this country is in.  Maybe some old Labour Party activist from decades ago, maybe the founders of the NHS, maybe the people who put great into Great Britain, who knows.  The lawn was cut and all was well with the world (except that I stood on an upturned plug and have a bruise the size of a jam jar lid - well a 50p piece maybe).

We had our Sunday lunch....... then........

..... we started talking about the state of the country.  What George Orwell thought was going to happen and the irony in the books he wrote. 

Maybe we all live in a big bubble and outside of that bubble live the Government of the day.  Looking at us all, pointing, laughing, passing comment, feeding us what we need to know and hiding what we dont need to know..... are you with me, 1984 and Animal Farm.

As long as anyone can remember, whatever age, propaganda has existed.  For the older people, the Second World War, for us 60's baby's the troubles in Northern Ireland.

Margared Thatcher "banned" the voice of Gerry Adams from the news.  We were allowed to see the dialogue in the form of words running along the bottom of the screen.  This did nothing at all in enabling some form of peace process to start.  This was just to make Maggie feel better.  I was brought up being told that the IRA were bad bad bad, they were the Catholic side and they were bad.  They did all the bombings and blew everyone up.  We were not told about the Protestant Unionsist Communities.  We were not told about their attrocities.

Now the Government are trying to gag the BBC cause they are scared that the good old BBC will tell us the truth and expose their lies.  My daughter (15) asked me why the political parties say one thing prior to the election then do the opposite after the election.  Were they allowed to do this? But that is telling lies......

Cut the BBC TV License fee...... Cut freedom for us all.
